This program will cover security guidelines, mandated policies and procedures you should be following.

Dealerships are considered “financial institutions” and must comply with the same regulations that govern banks, credit unions and other bodies that make consumer loans. Among the most complicated of these finance regulations are the array of consumer privacy and information security rules. These include the Privacy Rule, the Safeguards Rule, and the Red Flags Rule.

Attendees will learn:

  • How to best adhere to finance regulations
  • What you can and can’t do with customer information
  • A formal program to ensure the security of customer information
