New York City announced a first-in-the-nation vaccine mandate for private-sector employers, which requires vaccinations for all employees who work in-person in the City. With these recently imposed rules, comes many questions – including: What are the requirements? Who is exempt? and How costly are the violations?

Agenda items include:

  • What are the specific requirements?

  • What’s the difference between this and other vaccination mandates, like the Key to NYC Pass or the federal mandates?

  • Can an employee obtain an exemption from this new mandate?

  • What accommodations can dealers grant to employees?

  • What type of proof should an employer collect from its employees?

  • What steps should dealers take if an employee refuses to get vaccinated or disclose their vaccination status?
